Old Goa

Hard to believe but Old Goa’s population exceeded from the 16^th to the 18^th century the population of Lisbon and London. It was considered the ‘Rome of the East’. Today there is not much a city but an array of churches, museums and the cathedral and Old Goa is a stop of every tour around Goa.
